A MAN accused of the illegal possession of a high-powered hand gun under suspicious circumstances, has been further remanded on bail after the State was granted time to complete the book of evidence in the matter. Sam O’Flaherty, (37) of Henry Street, is charged with the alleged illegal possession of a Glock pistol at his home on October 27 last. The matter was adjourned until April 3 next after Judge Eugene O’Kelly was told the State sought an adjournment in the case to complete their investigations and comply with the preliminary directions of the DPP that the matter is to proceed by trial on indictment.
Sam O’Flaherty was release on continuing bail.
