Limerick face Clare in Mc Grath Cup

-

LIMERICK will face Clare this Sunday 13 afternoon in Foynes in the quarter final of the Mc Grath Cup. Throw in is at 2pm. This will be Limerick’s first competitive game of the new season and manager Maurice Horan will use the game to blood some new talent on the 2013 panel.

Horan will face Mick O’Dwyer on the sideline on Sunday. The Kerry legend saw his new Clare outfit defeat Limerick IT by 18 points at Milltown-Malbay, 1-20 to 1-02.
The Banner led by 1-11 to 1-00 at the break and there was no way back for the students as Clare added nine points after the resumption.
Clare, who defeated Limerick in last season’s Munster championships will be favourites for this early season clash, having already played a competitive fixture.
