A MAN who was arrested and charged with committing several burglaries in Limerick city as well as threatening a woman with a 12-inch blade has been remanded in custody to face trial at the Criminal Circuit court. Joseph Carry, (32), of O’Curry Street is accused of producing the blade at a house on Clancy Strand on December 30, last as well as carrying out burglaries on the North Circular Road and in Thomondgate. Last week’s sitting of Limerick District Court, Judge Eugene O’Kelly heard that the matters were likely to proceed by trial on indictment, and the case was adjourned until January 15.
