SANTA Claus has returned to the North Pole after completing his worldwide delivery. It is believed New Zealand was one of the first major stops before Santa delivered toys throughout Australia and Asia.
Santa had departed Limerick by 2am according to a Garda source. His elves were praised for their hard work in preparing and packing all the toys for children worldwide.
The largest ever numbers of elves were used to hoist the sacks of presents onto the sleigh this year.
Elves were asking children to leave out some food or even a bowl of water for the reindeers before they go to bed. Carrots and biscuits continues to be the favourite food for Rudolph.
Santa’s trip could be followed thanks to the Santa tracker on Google http://www.google.com/santatracker
Remarkably, Rudolph’s brilliant red nose provided an infrared signature that allowed satellites to identify Rudolph and Santa.
Children awoke this morning all over Limerick and the world to find their presents from Santa delivered as promised.
