FOLLOWING the success of last year’s campaign, Limerick Post has again launched its ADAPT Christmas Appeal and is urging readers to donate gifts for the women and children spending Christmas in refuge accommodation. Included on the wish list are new or nearly new DVDs, computer games, books, toys, toiletries and clothes for children and teenagers, as well as chocolates, cosmetics and nightwear for the mothers. Donations can be dropped into the Christmas appeal box in the Limerick Post reception throughout December.
