NIALL Colgan Hairdressing won Munster Salon of the Year at the Annual Schwarzkopf Professional Irish Hairdressing Business Awards, which took place in October in The Mansion House, Dublin.
Commenting on his win, owner Niall Colgan said; “I am absolutely thrilled for our business ethos, and brand to be recognised at these awards. It is such a big achievement for such a young company.”
Niall Colgan Hairdressing is based in Limerick on the beautiful Shannon River. Niall also commented on the key values that shape the salon of which he feels had a major influence over their win, “we focus on authenticity, elegance, education, and modernity, all of which add to the experience our clients receive at our salon. Our focus is our clients and we will continue to put them at the centre of what we do.”
Niall Colgan Hairdressing is the first salon in Limerick to ever win Munster Salon of the Year. Lee Bradshaw, Manager of Schwarzkopf, commented during the awards that it was one of the toughest categories in the competition.
Schwarzkopf host these unique awards every year, which target salon owners acknowledging and rewarding business acumen and excellence. Schwarzkopf noted that without a proper business strategy and good management no salon could reach its full business potential, no matter how good their creativity. Niall Colgan Hairdressing has proved just this – winning the award for Munster’s best salon for doing just that. They have received this award for showing excellence in business acumen and their dedication to developing a brand that is striving in today’s competitive and challenging environment.
