LIMERICK GAA will be relying on their junior champions for Munster Club silverware this weekend following the exit of their intermediate champion sides.
Intermediate hurling champions Ballybrown were defeated 2-13 to 0-14 by Ballyduff of Kerry after extra time. While the Limerick intermediate football champions Pallasgreen were beaten 2-9 to 1-9 by Kerry champions Finuge.

Having lost Kilmallock and Dromcollogher/ Broadford from the championship in recent weeks, Limerick GAA fans will be pinning their hopes on St Kierans and Cappamore this weekend.
St Kierans face Kenmare Shamrocks (Kerry) in the Munster Club Junior Hurling championship, while Cappamore will face Borrisokane (Tipperary) in the football equivalent.
The AIB Munster GAA Club Junior Football Championship Q-Final between Borrisokane (Tipperary) and Cappamore (Limerick) has been confirmed for Borrisokane on Sunday November 18 at 2pm, while Kenmare Shamrocks v St. Kieran’s will be played at Fitzgerald Stadium Killarney at 2pm.
In other news, the countdown is on for the Limerick Senior Footballers fundraising climb of Carrauntoohil on Saturday November 24. You can support the lads by sponsoring a squad member or joining them on the climb at a cost of €30.
