Following a Garda operation into criminal activity in Limerick, a 37-year-old man has been charged with possession of a Glock pistol at an apartment on Henry Street in the city last weekend. Sam O’Flaherty, Henry Street, Limerick was one of four men arrested last weekend as part of an ongoing crackdown on criminal activity.
The accused man was granted free legal aid at a special sitting of Limerick District Court on Monday night and assigned John Herbert as solicitor. Judge O’Kelly remanded him in custody until later this week.
