ROISIN Walsh, accomplished Limerick soprano, returns to the acoustic still of St. Mary’s Cathedral for a September Serenade concert on Thursday September 6, 8pm. Accompanied by Colette Davis on piano, Roisin will be joined by a accomplished singers for an evening of music to support her studies at London’s Guildhall School of Music and Dance.
Her previous benefit concerts at the cathedral sold out so book early with University Concert Hall’s box office to secure a seat or six.
“The programme for this beautiful concert will vary from well known operatic arias, duets, musical theatre and operetta to well known Irish songs, and guarantees something to suit all musical tastes,” reports Emma Foote of UCH. “Róisín is joined on the evening by Sarah-Ellen Murphy, Sinéad O’Brien, Ellen Collins, Kevin Neville, Brian Hartnett and David Howes”.
