The Spa @ No.1 Pery Square has introduced a new range of Payot body care treatments. Payot is the cult French skincare brand established in Paris in 1927 by Nadia Payot.
I visited The Spa @ No.1 recently to sample some of the new treatment range, trying the “Tout En Finesse” treatment, which is a one and a half hour customized slimming and anti-cellulite treatment.
There are five steps to this treatment –
1) First up is the Relaxation step, this is the prelude with warm scents to help decompress and clear the mind, relaxing the soul.
2) Next is the Preparation step, this is a draining body exfoliation with the delicious scents of almonds and pistachios.
3) Next it’s time for the Cellulite-Correcting Treatment, this is a wrap with caffeine and matcha green tea extracts to stimulate the lymphatic system.
4) This is followed by a Anti-Dimpling Massage, with specific manual massage movements and pressure points, and precise manoeuvres to drain tissues and eliminate fats.
5) The final step is the Signature Celluli-Ultra Preformance fat-vacuming’ gel-cream layer which completes the programme ‘with perfect finesse’.
Result:
“I had this treatment the week before my wedding and would recommend it to every bride, in fact, to every woman out there! If I could have it every week, I would!
I didn’t want too strong an exfoliation as it was so close to my big day, and this was the perfect balance of strong enough to do the job and take away any dead skin layers while softening the skin, but light enough not to cause any hint of redness or irritation.
The wrap was not overly gooey or messy, it was a light application of all the vital anti-cellulite ingredients., and great relaxation time as you lay there cocooned in the luxe towels while the wrap seeps in. The massage that follows is fantastic. It’s targeted to your specific areas of concern so most women will request the thighs and buttocks area among others and the therapist performs a specific, targeted, rigorous anti-cellulite massage zoning in on these areas breaking up any build-up of fats and helping to eliminate any cellulite. The gel layer at the end is the finishing touch and you will feel instantly more body confident – and eager to book it again!
