ARTS page is delighted to report that Richie Ryan of CentreStage Theatre School is appointed national adjudicator for the Association of Musical Societies (AIMS) National Awards Scheme throughout the 2012/13 season.
Given Richie’s accomplished career as a singer, actor, director with Cecilians, Limerick Musical Society, fundraising concerts, school concerts and his own company, no one is better qualified to evaluate for AIMS. “I will be travelling to over 60 venues and societies throughout all of Ireland, from Cork to Belfast, to view their productions and furnish them with a detailed critique and report,” he explained.
“At the end of each season, the adjudicator nominates individuals and societies for a vast array of awards, with the winners being announced at the annual awards ceremony”.
This takes place each year during the AIMS National Seminar. Richie, we salute your commitment to the cause, your cultural capital and especially, your stamina.
