17 jobs for UL innovation centre

A TOTAL of 17 new jobs are to be created at the University of Limerick by start-up company iMosphere. The positions will be provided at the Nexus Innovation Centre and the company is the second international start-up to choose the centre as a base in the past two months. iMosphere designs and creates data capture IT applications which allow medical professionals to collect, collate and review patient data from a number of sources, thereby improving healthcare outcomes. Established by Face UK, iMosphere’s Limerick base will serve as headquarters for its planned worldwide activities along with hosting it’s cloud based solutions.

Dr. Paul Clifford, CEO, iMosphere said the Nexus Innovation Centre was chosen as a strategic location for the company.
“We are pleased that we will have the opportunity to work and collaborate with a number of faculties in the university on key research projects that will help position iMosphere as a market leader in healthcare analytics, data creation and management.
“We are also very excited with the opportunity to work with students and graduates with a view that some of them may join the iMosphere team in the future”.
The Nexus Innovation Centre is the latest Enterprise Ireland campus incubation centre to be opened and will support the formation and growth of 35 new high potential start-up (HPSU) companies between 2011 and 2016, generating over 115 new high-value jobs.
