LCFE graduate opens city centre photo studio

Tarmo Tulit, a talented photographer and LCFE graduate, has opened a new city based photography studio, ‘Studio T’, situated in the Thomas Street Centre in Erson’s Laneway across from Bourke’s Bar.  Studio T is part of the Creative Limerick project which enables graduates from the city’s third level institutions to use vacant shop spaces to sell and endorse their work. Tarmo’s main interest as a photographer is in portraiture and while he specializes in the area of advertorial photography, he also focuses on beauty, fashion, boudoir and commercial, be it food photography or website photography to name but a few.

Tarmo is also an ambassador for the EU Unstoppable Anti-Smoking Campaign. Commenting this week, he said “I am really excited to open Studio T in the city centre, it’s a great location with Thomas Street car park across from the studio.”
He added “having the studio in the city centre is the perfect base for clients to drop by and discuss projects”.
Previously working under internationally recognized wedding photographer Brendan Landy, Tarmo states he learned his skills from Landy, especially the secrets of lighting and use of colours and textures as the means of visual expression.
With art in mind, Tarmo is looking for models both beginners and experienced, male and female, of all weights, ages and heights. Models must be at least 16 years old however, and those under 18 need parental consent.
Tarmo explained “Most of the projects don’t require any modelling skills or previous experience, if you have charisma, a will to do it, and are up for a laugh – that will do just fine. We are looking for interesting people, not just the idea of models but people with interesting features”.
Projects are all different, some very simple, some more brave and demanding, it is up to you which one you want to give a go. No money will change hands and participants will receive their images from the projects they partake in. Contact Tarmo Tulit Photography on 087-6837250 or email [email protected].
