Munster crash out to Ulster at Thomond Park

-

MUNSTER crashed out of the Heineken Cup at the hands of Ulster today. The 22-16 final scoreline at Thomond Park did not tell the full tale as Ulster led by 19 points after just twenty minutes. A superb solo try from Craig Gilroy and 17 points from the boot of Ruan Pienaar sends Ulster into the semi final to face Edinburgh, while Munster must analyse what went wrong for them. Munster are now without a Heineken Cup victory since their 2008 win over Toulouse. For more analysis and reaction to this game, see this weeks Limerick Post Newspaper.
