Deputy to engage with young voters ahead of referendum

AN Taoiseach Enda Kenny has selected a county Limerick TD to engage with young voters in advance of the European Fiscal Stability Treaty. The Referendum is to take place on Thursday May 31 and, as one of the youngest TDs in the Dail, Deputy Patrick O’Donovan has been asked to ensure that young voters are aware of its importance. “An Taoiseach Enda Kenny asked me to engage with young voters on the European Fiscal Treaty and deliver the message that it is in their interest to vote Yes”, said Deputy O’Donovan.

“I will be engaging with organisations and individuals around the country in the run up to the election in May to get this message across.
“I’d like to encourage anyone who would like to discuss the matter with me to not hesitate in getting in touch”.
The deputy can be contacted at constituency offices in Newcastle West and Cappamore.
He said there will be further announcements in the coming weeks on how young voters can engage with the government on the topic of the European Fiscal Stability Treaty.
