Munster Rugby Photo Expo

An exhibition of some of the finest Munster Rugby action photographs taken over the last decade by Limerick sports photographer Ivan O’Riordan, will be launched at the Raggle Taggle Gallery, Sarsfield Street, Limerick at 6pm on Thursday 29th March next and will be on show for a three week period.

The exhibition opens as rugby fever grips the city, for the Munster v Leinster RaboDirect PRO12 game in Thomond Park and will remain open for Munster’s crunch home Heineken Cup Quarter Final against Ulster.

The exhibition is being hosted by Ivan O’Riordan, an accredited photographer with the Munster Supporters’ Club and keen follower of all Limerick sports for many years. Ivan   personally took the action photographs from Munster matches over the last decade. The Exhibition is supported by Shannon Development through its Limerick European City of Sport programme and by generous contributions from local companies and individuals.

A limited amount of each of the mounted photographs will be for sale at the exhibition with prices ranging from €20 for an A4 size mounted photo to €120 for a framed 19” x 13” photo. All proceeds from the sale of photographs will go to the Munster Rugby’s nominated charities for the 2011/12 season:- Acquired Brain Injury Ireland, Motor Neurone Research Ireland and C.R.O.S.S.
