Sporting Limerick with huge thanks to Limerick College of Further Education is delighted to announce the launch of a weekly Sporting Limerick podcast, a look at the latest local, national and international sports stories each Thursday evening. The Podcast features a panel discussion of four guests made up of local sports media, sports fans and sports stars and promises a relaxed look at the sporting topics of the day. The Podcast is produced each week by Media students at Limerick College of Further Education and is available to listen to on www.sportinglimerick.com or www.facebook.com/SportingLimerick.
Patrick Hogan, Media Department, Limerick College of Further Education, added; “We are delighted to get involved in the Sporting Limerick Podcast initiative as it provides a great opportunity for students on our media courses to see at first-hand how the programme is produced. Through the support of my colleagues, Arlene Douglas, Head of Media, and Pat Maunsell, College Director, I am really pleased that we are able to provide the facilities to record the podcast at LCFE as we prepare to launch our own online radio station ‘iMix’ in the coming weeks.”
