THE LIMERICK senior hurlers take on Wexford this Sunday in round three of the National Hurling League. Throw in at Wexford Park is at 2.30pm.
John Allen’s side over came Laois last weekend. The 1-24 to 2-12 win for Limerick did much to bury the nightmare of the Clare defeat in round one.
Limerick started with Donal O’Grady at centre back. An experiment which might need more testing if the move from midfield is to be truly decided upon.
The stars for Limerick on Sunday last were, David Breen, Shane Dowling and Graeme Mulcahy. The later really impressed, knocking over six points from play,
