Anne McCarthy Dundon buried in Limerick

THE MOTHER of Wayne, John, Dessie and Ger Dundon was buried this Monday in Mt St Oliver Cemetery after requiem mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Anne McCarthy Dundon died in London last month after she was hit by a 4×4 jeep. The funeral had been delayed to allow an inquest and postmortem to be completed after the accident.

Ms McCarthy Dundon had been living in Hackney in London for a number of years after she returned there from Limerick some time ago.

It was the wishes of the family to have her buried with her father John “the man” McCarthy at the Limerick cemetery.

Her criminal sons have not been granted temporary release for her funeral as both Wayne and John are in custody awaiting trial and Dessie and Ger are serving lengthy prison sentences.
