LIMERICK’S High School International (HSI) went into voluntary liquidation on this Monday.
The school, founded by Mrs Noreen McNamara in 1951, was, in the words of Deputy Willie O’Dea, one of the most venerable learning instititions in the country.
“This is a very sad day for Limerick, and unfortunately, will result in a ripple effect”.
Staff and pupils were informed this Monday of the closure.
