Limerick lose bravely in Croke Park

-

Limerick lost the All Ireland quarter final today to a rampant Kerry side. Leading 1-8 to 0-4 points at half time, the Kingdom went on to win by 13 points on a scoreline of 1-20 to 0-10. Limerick took until the 17th minute to register a score, however any chance of a battle was put to the sword by a superb Darran O’Sullivan goal in the 26th minutes. A goal which might be goal of the season just yet. Limerick will be happy with their season as a whole. One which, without all the injuries, (Stephen Lucey going off today) could have been a lot better. For more reaction and analysis, check out this Thursday’s Limerick Post Newspaper.
