Sunday, 17 July 2011: Shannon Airport reopened today shortly after 4.02 pm following an earlier airfield incident involving the Aer Lingus Regional service EI3601, operated by Aer Arann, from Manchester.
Flights will resume immediately and all passengers scheduled for inbound and outbound flights delayed due to the earlier incident are asked to contact their airline regarding departure and arrival times.
