Airs Monday next
THE Limerick based episodes of the popular reality/cook-off show Come Dine with Me is set to air on TV3 from next Monday July 18. The controversial show is sure to provide its share of “water cooler moments” in the coming week. Five Limerick people will each throw a dinner party and attempt to impress each other with a €1,000 prize up for grabs for the host with the highest score at the end of the week.
On Monday Nadia Sakni of Limerick’s Live95 FM hosts the first dinner party of the week. Her guests/rivals are Elvis fan Cyril O’Neill, country lass and housewife Kathleen McKeown, beauty therapist Jane Higgins-Sheedy and car sales executive Graham Culleton.
Nadia hopes to impress the diners with her conservative menu and local magician Steve Spade will be on board to enthrall her guests with some after-dinner entertainment. The show’s producers have revealed that Nadia’s night is “eventful”. Dinner guest and Elvis fan Cyril O’Neill raises eyebrows around the table with his controversial toilet habits and even more controversial views on women in the kitchen. On the Tuesday night it is Cyril’s turn in the kitchen when he prepares an all-out Elvis extravaganza which includes plenty of fried food. His chances of winning the show just might go up in smoke if his guests learn his secret for remembering their names, he writes them on his hand!
Come Dine with Me airs next week every night at 9pm from Monday July 18.
