Blues to show intention with signings

-

AS you read this, Limerick FC have taken a big step forward in their history by signing some experienced players for the remainder of the season.
At the time of going to press, Limerick have been linked with several high profile players with experience in the Airtricity League. If the rumours are to be believed, then Limerick will be looking to secure the services of Denis Behan and Joe Gamble.

Behan and Gamble have been seen at recent Limerick FC games and Chairmain Pat O’Sullivan looks to have persuaded the star pairing to sign for Pat Scully’s Super Blues.
Limerick had been on a run of 10 games without defeat, until last Friday night, when they went down 3-0 to Shelbourne.
The performance last Friday night in front of a 700 plus crowd was one of Limerick’s most disappointing. The sending off of John Frost in the 72nd minute was the icing on the cake on a bad night, where Limerick missed Brian O’Callaghan (knee) and Pat Purcell (suspension) at the back.
Limerick, with their new signings will be a force to be reckoned with and hopefully a new run can start this weekend away to Wexford Youths.
The Superblues are positioning themselves nicely in the Airtricity First Division, so promotion might not yet be out of their control.
The future appears to be SuperBlue.
