Limerick FC face Shelbourne this Friday

-

LIMERICK FC have a chance to close the gap at the top of the League of Ireland first Division this Friday night as they take on Shelbourne at Jackman Park.
A one all draw was the result in the sides previous meeting in Tolka Park. A game Limerick could so easily have won.

Speaking ahead of this weekends game, Limerick manager Pat Scully feels Shelbourne are beatable and Limerick can use this game to march up the table.
“Shels have had a great start to the season and their points total is very impressive. We have had them watched a couple of times recently and it’s fair to say they’ve had the rub of the green on more than one occasion, but that might not be the case for the whole season. It will be a tough game, but we want to keep our focus and keep pushing up the table.”
Kick off on Friday night is at 19.45. There will be a large crowd expected at Jackman Park as Limerick are currently on a 10 game unbeaten run in the league and Cup.
Speaking of the cup, Limerick have been drawn away to Bray Wanderers in the fourth round of the Ford FAI Cup. Ties to be played, the weekend of August 26th-28th
