The following is the Traffic Management Plan to cater for the above event.
Sarsfield Bridge, Shannon Bridge, Thomond Bridge and New Limerick Tunnel will be open to 2 way Traffic at all times Traffic travelling inbound on the M7 or from other routes should follow the N18 Galway Route and use Exit 3 (Clonmacken Exit ) – similarly traffic inbound on N18 should use Exit 4 Caherdavin Exit. Delays can expected on all routes owing to extra volumes.
Road Closures will not apply or be put in place for this event.
No general parking spaces are available immediately outside or within the grounds and vehicle access to the grounds (this includes access for vehicles with special needs) is limited by Pass (Only) issued by Stadium Management.
Parking restrictions will be put in place at/near the Stadium and Vehicles found in breach will be impounded. Penalty €125.00 payment before release. The same applies to vehicles parked in bus lanes/ cycle lanes Prosecutions in Court may arise also.
The Garda advice to all patrons attending this event on 4th.June, 2011 is to use bus/mini bus, private hire or share transport to this event. Arrive early and avail of street/multi- storey parking in the city centre area. Patrons can either walk out to the Stadium – 15/20 minute walk or avail of the Public Bus or any Taxi/PSV vehicle service. Patrons heeding of this advice are likely to avoid delays in travelling home after event.
Reduce the risk of theft or interference with property and do not leave any bags/mobile phones or other valuables in vehicles
