IT’S Ford FAI Cup third round time this weekend as Limerick FC travel to Tallaght in Dublin to take on Scared Heart FC of the Dublin and District Schoolboys League.For those fans wishing to travel, Sacred Heart FC football teams play their home matches at soccer pitches in Killinarden, Tallaght 24.
Limerick will enter the game as overwhelming favourites, however, as we all know, Cup competitions are famous for their giant killing.
The Superblues go into the game having beaten Salthill Devon 1-0 last Thursday evening, while also drawing nil all with local rivals Cork City at Jackman Park.
Limerick, currently fourth in the league will return to First Division action on Saturday June 11th away to Longford before playing their next home game against Shelbourne on Friday June 17th.
Expected Limerick FC to line out as follows, Barry Ryan, Corie Treacy, Brian O’Callaghan, Paddy Purcell, John Frost, Jeffrey Judge, Sean O’Connor, David O’Leary, Paudie Quinn, Peter Hynes, Chris Breen.
