Lough Derg Captain’s Run event postponed

    THE forecast of inclement weather has forced the orgainsers of the Captain’s Run event scheduled for this Saturday in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland to postpone the event to another date this summer.

    Stating that the “safety of participants is paramount,” they added that the

    “adverse weather conditions can threaten saftey and therefore a decision was made to postpone the event”.

    The event was to run on Lough Derg in Killaloe and group will release a new date as soon as possible.
