Limerick FC face Wexford on Friday night

-

FIFTH plays seventh in the Airtricity Leage First Division this Friday night at Jackman Park as Limerick FC take on Wexford Youths.
Limerick drew 1-1 with Shelbourne last weekend in what was a real nail biting finish. Limerick went one down after 85 minutes only for Paudie Quinn to score in the 92nd minute to secure a valuable away point. (Highlights of the game are on You Tube)

Ahead of this weekend’s tie, Limerick manager Pat Scully is hoping that momentum can be achieved from last weekend’s good performance.
“This game is a real banana skin for us. Wexford have not started the season as well as they would have liked and they will be looking for a positive result against us on Friday night. After last week’s good draw and performance against Shels, we have to keep winning our home games and I can really see the confidence and believe growing in the players with every performance.”
Kick off at Jackman Park is at 7.45pm.
