O’Driscoll leads unchanged Ireland

-

IRELAND coach Declan Kidney has named an unchanged team to take on Wales this Saturday afternoon in round four of the Six Nations.
This of course means that Ronan O’Gara will continue at number 10, while there is no space in the match day 22 for for Munster scrum half Tomas O Leary.

Wales have brought Cardiff wing Leigh Halfpenny and Scarlets centre Jonathan Davies into their back line for the visit of Ireland to the Millennium Stadium on Saturday and have also gone with ‘same again’ for the pack which sealed a narrow victory over Italy last time out.
Ospreys playmaker James Hook returns to fly half, after starting there in the Round 2 victory over Scotland, before switching to centre to face the Azzurri.
Davies returns from hamstring trouble to reform his midfield partnership with Cardiff centre Jamie Roberts, who switches to outside centre.
Halfpenny replaces Scarlets wing Morgan Stoddart, who drops to the bench.
In the game itself, Limerick’s David Wallace makes his 70th appearance for Ireland. (His 40th Six Nations appearance). Also, Brian O’Driscoll, who will captain the side once more is just one try off of equalling Ian Smith’s all time try scoring Nations record, with 23.
