Art, silver and antique auction

HASTEN to Limerick Auction Rooms on Ballysimon Road to pick up a catalogue for its Wednesday 23 auction, or to preview stock. The enormous new showrooms are open for viewings of the hundreds and hundreds of lots – 250 in antique furniture alone – from this Friday 18 right through to Wednesday 23 next. Attend from 11am any day.
The auction gavel will sound first at 2pm on the 23rd for this first public event organised by the new business.

A new company perhaps, but one run by experienced property/ goods auctioneers Daren Parish and Richard Ryan, aided by consultant and evaluator Robin O’Donnell.

Expect much in terms of modern and traditional Irish art by big names. The organisers are especially  proud of the rare items of Limerick silver, dating from our golden 100 years of high-end silver work in the city in the 1700s.

Jewellery, antique and costume; collectibles and oddities from Edwardian, Victorian and Georgian eras and objets d’arts are ours to bid for on the day. Enquiries to 061-422143. If you have beautiful antique or art goods to sell quietly at any stage this year, Limerick Auction Rooms are there to receive you and evaluate.
