EV+A not to be staged this year

EV+A, Limerick’s exhibition of visual art, will not be staged in 2011.
However, Sheila Deegan, arts officer, City Council, told the Limerick Post they were hopeful for 2012.
She confirmed they had made application to the Arts Council for funding for 2011 and 2012.
The Government has cut its funding to the Arts Council and it is understood that funding will be allocated to EV+A, which provides  opportunities to artists to create new work, every two years.
