UL Eagles in final four

-

Limerick’s UL Eagles face their big rivals Killester in next weekend’s National Super League Cup Semi finals. The game promises to be a great battle between these two teams who played each other in last season’s league final which Killester won. UL Eagles are having another good season and are eagerly looking forward to the cup semi finals. Eagles had a really tough game last weekend where they prevailed by a single score 80 to 78 against DCU Saints in Dublin.

Limerick’s coach Mark Bernsen was pleased to get this win and he will spend the week preparing the Limerick team for the challenging weekend ahead.
After training on Monday Mark said “Cup games are always special and our semi-final match with Killester will be no different. They have proven year in and year out that they are a team that will always compete well in this competition and at this venue.
“As we prepare for the match it will be of utmost importance that both our offensive and defensive concepts be installed correctly so that we will be able to deal with Killester’s overall approach to the game.”
The game is set for Sunday 16th Jan, 2011 in Neptune Stadium, Cork with a 4.30pm tip- off.
