Gardai investigating the murder of a male and a female in their 20s at a house in O’Malley Park have arrested a woman in her mid 30’s in the city this Tuesday morning and is being held along with seven others that were arrested on Monday.
The woman is being held under section 30 of the Offences against the State act.
On Monday afternoon, seven people (four males, three females) range in age from their mid 20s to their 50s were arrested in the Limerick area and are still being detained at Bruff, Roxboro, Mayorstone, Shannon, Henry Street and Newcastlewest Garda Stations under Section 50 of Criminal Justice Act 2007.
Post mortems and initial investigations have been held and the Gardai are appealing toi anyone with additional information to come forward.
They are also appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity of O’Malley Pk and noticed any suspicious activity between 1130pm on the 8th of January and 11:30am on the 9th January to contact them.
