THE sentencing of a 37-year-old woman who illegally chartered two planes from Monarch Airlines to bring Munster rugby fans to European Cup matches in December 2004 and January 2005, has been adjourned until May 17 of next year. Pamela Hickey, with an address at Ashford, Patrickswell, had pleaded guilty to the two offences and a third charge of forgery at Ashford, Patrickswell, on January 14, 2005 contrary to the Criminal Justice and Theft Act 2001.
Ms Hickey was not present in court as she had been advised under medical grounds not to attend.
Judge Carroll Moran adjourned the case until May 17 next year.
