Niall Colgan Hairdressing on O’Callaghan Strand is facing into its second Christmas in business with confidence and an air of excitement, “We have had an amazing 18 months since opening, and this is our favourite time of the year when the Christmas frenzy kicks in and that festive buzz is in the air”, Niall commented.
Niall Colgan was appointed a member of the Irish Wella Style Council earlier in the year, and now senior stylist Carol Masterson has also begun working with Ireland’s elite hairdressing team.
Another recent appointment saw colour expert Jean McGann join the team from the Mahongany Artistic Team in London with whom she travelled the world working with some of the most talented people in the industry in Australia, South America and the UK. She has worked on many photo shoots, and directly for designers, and participated in fashion weeks internationally.
Jean has coloured many a celebrities hair and before working with Mahogany, she was formerly an Educator and Colour Technician with Wella having grown up in a hairdressing family business in Co.Clare and getting into the industry she loves at an early age.
Jean works closely with senior stylist Nikki Harris (formerly of Rush, London and Sassoons) as well as Carol, Niall and all the team who together offer expert colouring and cutting at the highest level.
The salon will also soon be welcoming back senior colourist Eithne Ryan who will be back from maternity leave on December 8 and is looking forward to seeing all her clients.
