THE Limerick woman who was charged with illegally chartering planes to accommodate Munster Rugby fans fly to two away matches, has pleaded guilty to the offences at Limerick Circuit Court.
37-year-old Pamela Hickey, with an address at Ashford, Patrickswell, appeared in court and was arraigned and entered the guilty plea.
The offences for which Ms Hickey now faces sentencing later this year relate to the chartering of two flights from Monarch Airlines in December 2004, and January 2005.
Ms Hickey also answered a charge of forgery at her address on January 14, 2005, contrary to the Criminal Justice Fraud and Theft Offences Act 2001.
Ms Hickey chartered the services of Monarch Airlines, by deception, in connection with two return flights from Shannon to Gatwick to coincide with two Munster Rugby matches.
Ms Hickey remains on bail while she awaits sentencing on December 14 next.
