A Midsummer Night’s Swing will celebrate the summer solstice with an evening of music from Liam O’Brien and the Million Dollar Swing Band at The Loft venue on Tuesday June 22.
O’Brien has performed in many swing cabarets including playing Dean Martin in the West End production of The Rat Pack – Live from Las Vegas in 2009 and his own original Crooning at Christmas shows which have been a sold out success every December for the last four years.
Joined by special guests Nigel Dugdale and Lisa Bresnan, audiences can expect “an evening of midsummer magic featuring the songs of Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Karen Carpenter, Matt Munro and many more.” Bottom Dog Theatre is delighted to present this night of swing music with Liam O’Brien to celebrate his acceptance to the prestigious Steppenwolf Summer programme, chosen from hundreds of applicants, at California State University.
