Organisations face IT issues

-

LIMERICK Chamber in association with Garry IT Solutions and VASCO are hosting a Business Breakfast entitled IT issues facing organisations on Wednesday June 16 at the Savoy Hotel, Henry St. at 7.30am. This event will focus on the burning issues for the next twelve months, addressing the key challenges organisations currently face and identifying the technologies to watch out for, including: Green IT, security and virtualisation, IT governance etc.

With the growing number of remote and internal users requiring access to corporate networks, email and other sensitive information, the issue of security has become a top priority for organisations from almost all industries and verticals.

VPN and web portals have made it possible to gain access to critical data from anywhere and at anytime.  Even your customers are using web portals and ecommerce sites to transact business or to view confidential information.  However, with this added convenience comes additional risk.  Unauthorised users could easily gain access to the published applications and confidential data if the only protection in place is a weak static password. The impact of identity theft and unauthorised access to both internal company and customer information can have a tremendous impact.

“Don’t fall victim to identity and information theft. Protect your business with VASCO’s strong authentication solutions. With VASCO DIGIPASS, you will be able to securely authenticate ALL user types and provide safe access to sensitive data from anywhere, at anytime”, is advised by the organisers.
