Cycle4sickchildren to benefit Limerick services

Saturday June 26 sees the second  annual Cycle4sickchildren charity event taking place in Deebert House Hotel Kilmallock Co. Limerick. This year Cycle4sickchildren are delighted to announce that they will be supporting three local services, with the proceeds from the event.

The three recipients are St Gabriel’s School and Centre Limerick, Scoil Aonghusa, Cashel and San Joseph Respite House Limerick. The main aim is of the organisation is disability awareness and in doing  that they hope to provide funding for these three fine services  which provide  a great resource to a child and their parents who are living with a disability .

 The cycle itself is broken up into two levels,. The “Trip to Tipp” stage is a 102km cycle which will take in the scenic rock of Cashel will return back to Kilmallock. The second route “Tour of Bulge” is a 24km family event which will take riders around the local Bulgaden area. After both cycles are finished a three course meal and a night of music await.

Cycle4sickchildren are always looking for people to help with catering, marshalling, safety cars, medics, signage or in anyway possible to make this a great success. For more information please contact [email protected].

The event costs 50 euro for 16 and over, 35 for under 16, and u/8 cycle free. Sponsorship cards are also available from [email protected].
