TWO brothers have been remanded in custody this morning after they appeared in Limerick District court charged with threatening to kill another man in the city last week.
34-year-old Kieran Collopy and his brother Damian, aged 20, both from St Ita’s Street in St Mary’s Park, were charged with threatening to kill Willie Moran at St Senan’s Street in the same estate last Wednesday.
They were also charged with trespassing, and Kieran Collopy was also charged with assaulting Mr Moran.
The court was told they made no reply to the charges.
Judge John O’Neill remanded both brothers in custody to appear before the District Court again on Wednesday April 21.
