E-learning on the web

-

AS PART of her MA in E-learning Design and Development Limerick student Siobhan Hayes designed and developed an E-learning course in photography and the creation of an audio visual slide show. Having completed her MA in August Siobhan launched this course just before Christmas on the web where it is intuitive with a series of video tutorials and it is free to use.

Pictured is a still from one module called ‘Photography – creating and audio-visual slide show’ and it consists of four units and will provide the skills required to create an audio-visual slide show:

Project Administration, Photography Preparation, Audacity, Pictures To Exe.

Users can complete the whole course or navigate through the lessons in a non-sequential manner. Users who complete this course will be able to:

Create and manage folders and files using Windows Explorer.

Adjust and enhance images using Photoshop CS3.

Download and use Audacity to edit or record sound files.

Download Pictures To Exe and create an audio-visual slide show presentation with customised music.

Siobhan notes that; “This course was launched to provide an aid for all those interested in photography and to provide a showcase for skills.”

Log on to http://www.elearnphotography.com and you can utilise the free to use web tool.
