UPDATE: A BODY of a 17 year-old female was recovered from the River Shannon in Limerick city on Wednesday morning at 10.40am, following a three-day search of the River Shannon. It was identified to be Hazel. RIP
GARDAI at Henry St are currently looking for 17-year-old Hazel Shannon, height 5’ 5” of slim build, long dark hair – tied in a pony tail and brown eyes.
She was last seen on Sarsfield St., at 2:41am on Saturday last.
When last seen, Hazel was wearing a purple tracksuit silver strip down the side and a silver design on the back of the track suit top and pink and white runners.
Gardai are appealing for anybody that has any knowledge of her whereabouts, or was passing or on Sarsfield Bridge/Ennis Rd/Sarsfield Street around this time, to contact them at 061 212400.
