GARDAÍ have introduced traffic plans ahead of Friday’s Munster V Northampton Heineken Cup match in Thomond Park.
Those planning to attend are asked to allow plenty of time to make their journey. It is advised to utilise public transport or the park and ride facilities to minimise traffic disruption.
A Garda cordon will be in effect on the streets that lead to residential areas from two ours before the stiles open until one hour after the match. Only accredited vehicles will be permitted to pass by this cordon. The consumption of alcohol outside public houses is prohibited, and patrons are asked to have consideration for local residents.
Gardaí also advise attendees to be aware of personal safety and security at all times and that property is not left exposed in parked vehicles.
