Epic night promised for talent final

From 2,000 entries back in September, Trinity Factor was an emotional roller coaster for the South West’s biggest talent competition to find it’s ten finalists. Both semi finals saw a capacity crowd pack the main room of the city centre club and with each performance better than the last, it was impossible to call who was going to make it to the grand final taking place on Tuesday December 29.

The finalists have been named and include Shannon based grime rappers Tru Blood Soldierz, singer Maire ide de ball, girl band duo Lina and Nadine, singer Raquel Rocca, human beatboxer White Noise, singer Brian O’Brien, singer songwriter Sam Keehan, rapper Michael Tubridy, singer Elaine O’Halloran, hip hop duo Unusual Crew, dancers Precision Cut and guitar slinging Duo Brian and Manolis.
While the winners will walk away with €1500 in prizes, it could be said that all the finalists are winners with such a high standard taking part. Trinity Rooms felt that everyone who had got this far should be highlighted and so the idea of the Trinity Factor Christmas single was born.
On a rainy Tuesday night in November all twelve, semi-finalists were rehearsed for a day by producer Rocky O’Shea before being transported to the state of the art Peach Studios in Shannon where a specially arranged and remixed version of the Christmas Classic “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” was recorded.  The title track featuring a spoken word intro, a twelve bar rap, four solo parts and barely a sleigh bell in sight the Trinity Factor “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” single was born and is now available nationwide. In Limerick the single is only available at Empire Music and at Trinity Rooms. All the proceeds are going to the Children’s Ark Project Mid-West. Located at the Regional Hospital, the unit sees over 3,500 pediatric admissions annually, ninety nine percent of them acute emergency.
Trinity Factor the grand final takes place on Tuesday December 29 and includes a champagne reception, finger food and the exclusive after party with Danny Dyer.  Tickets are on sale at Trinity Rooms, Empire Music and online at ticketmaster.
