BAKER place hosts a fundraiser for Adapt House on Saturday December 19. The night will feature live music by local talent Brian O’Brien, Patrick O’Brien and Jen Ronan followed by Paddy McCoubrey on the decks until the small hours.
Adapt House is a women’s refuge and support service that provides safe, emergency shelter and support to women and their children who are subjected to domestic abuse. Local lady behind the fundraiser Clair Dineen spoke to the Limerick Post ahead of the gig. “Adapt House is a charity that I think Christmas is the hardest time of year for, I am hoping to raise money for them and hoping everyone will have a really good night seeing as it’s the party season”.
Clair had a fantastic response from the Musicians she approached to play on the night right from the start and is very grateful for the support she has received from local businesses who have donated spot prizes. The fun kicks off at 9pm, admission a festive 5 euro with all proceeds going to this worthwhile cause.
