AN investigation has been launched into a stabbing that took place in the city last night.
A man was injured in the incident, which occurred around midnight in the Southill area.
The wounded man was taken to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Dooradoyle.
However, his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
