GARDAI are investigating the death of an elderly man in County Limerick.
James Mulqueen of Ballymakeery, Kilcolman, Ardagh was found dead at his home last Friday morning.
It was initially believed the man had died of natural causes. However, as a result of a postmortem examination, Gardai are now investigating the death and treating it as suspicious.
The man lived alone and the scene has been sealed off for a technical examination.
The Limerick Post understands there were no signs of a forced entry to the house.
