Now it’s time to get the juniors involved

THE new season is well underway and the Heineken cup is back in town, so the Munster Rugby Supporters Club is now looking to recruit some more younger members to its red army. The Junior Membership is now open and will remain so up until the end of the month. Junior club members start off by receiving their membership card and a Munster gift appropriate to their age.

In the course of the year they will be invited to attend Junior Members parties at selected Magners League games and a special Thomond Park Stadium Christmas Party that will be attended by Munster players.

In addition members will receive a 10% discount in the Munster Rugby Stores (Cork and Limerick) on production of their membership card and can also end up being a match mascot.

Members receive a regular Supporters Club ezine as well as monthly emails from the players Captain of the Junior Club with news straight from the Munster Camp. Jerry Flannery is the current captain and when he ends his stint in December, Ronan O’Gara will take over for a year.

The Junior Club was started only a couple of years ago and there are currently 1,200 members, the Munster Rugby Supporters Club manager Jennifer Kiernan along with the committee hope to increase that number to 2,000 after the present intake.

So why not sign up your juniors today – cost of Membership is €25 for the year and you can join on-line by logging onto www.munsterrugbysupporters.com.
