Foraging Sunday with Slow Food

-

This Sunday from 2 to 4pm, Slow Food Limerick will lead a foraging expedition under the guidance of organic grower and ecologist Rachel O’Grady and Ted Cooke.

This free event packed with information on seasonality has only requisition, you bring along a mug for your tea. DIRECTIONS – Take the N69 to Askeaton.

Take the left hand slip road for Askeaton town, then turn left, signposted for Rathkeale. After a quarter of a mile on this road, turn right. This is at the bend in the road. There is a yellow house opposite the entrance with the gable end facing onto the road and a mock Tudor house just before the bend. On the right, cross the cattle grid and you’re there!  There’s plenty parking available at the house so don’t worry about looking for a spot.
